PAULIUS MACKONIS

PhD degree in Materials Engineering in the field of High peak and average power lasers in 2022. His work primarily focuses on developing advanced laser systems, particularly those generating high-intensity, ultrashort laser pulses from visible to the mid-infrared spectrum. One of his significant achievements is the creation of laser architectures that produce high-energy pulses lasting less than 20 femtoseconds. Dr. P. Mackonis has contributed extensively to the advancement of nonlinear optics, helping push the boundaries of laser technology. These developments are essential for scientific fields like attosecond X-ray pulse generation, terahertz radiation, and LIDAR technologies.
